Passengers rushed off a plane in Aden as missiles land near the airport for the second time this month

The story
Two missiles came down close to the airport in Aden on Friday night, and Yemen's government says the Houthis fired them. Police said nobody was killed or hurt.
A Yemenia Airways plane was getting ready to take off only about 500 meters away when it happened. Passengers were taken off the aircraft and moved to safety.
This is the second strike on the airport in less than 10 days. On October 7, missiles landed near the runway just minutes before a flight from Cairo was due in, and that plane was sent to Jeddah instead. The Houthis said back then that they were aiming at Saudi military supplies at a camp next to the airport.
Aden matters a lot here. It has been the base of Yemen's recognized government since the Houthis took the capital, Sanaa, in 2014, and its airport is the main way in and out for the parts of the country the rebels don't control.
The fighting on the ground is heating up too. Government forces say they have pushed forward in Marib province and claim to have taken out about 430 Houthi fighters in a single day. Those numbers could not be checked on their own.
